This is the Antique dress uniform of the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders of Canada, the unit first form in 1903 and seen actions during the first world war through few famous battles such as the Battle of The Somme in 1916 and the Famous Vimy Ridge 1917, Passchendaele and Battle of Ypres, onward to the 2nd world war in the battle of Falaise pocket and battle of Scheldt, decades later it is still in service and during ceremonial parades or ceremonies the dress uniform still retain the iconic kilts just like any other highlander unit of Canada.
The condition of this item is good, with some wear and some moth holes that form around the kilts and the tunic, on the tunic collar there are some stitching has been wearing down and holes appearing around it, the interior of the tunic has show signs of some tear and holes that occurred over the decades, This uniform still remain in it's acceptable condition despite the decades pass by and sustain wears and tears that are expected but the wear and tear is not to an extend.
