Canadian Armed Forces Pattern 51 Mess Tin Pouch - Painted

The classic Canadian Armed Forces Pattern 51 Mess Kit pouch, and what appears to be is the entirety of the pouch exterior has been covered in painted by a previous soldier that were issued this. The reason why for it's to be paint is to give the exterior a waterproof finish to stop the mess kit from ever getting wet or the other content of it getting wet inside.

The condition of this item is overall good, however it's obviously being covered in paint all around, but the exterior seems good
