Casstrom No.10 Swedish Forest knife

This strong full-tang knife is built for versatile use during hunting, fishing and general use of the forest. It is a very sturdy knife you can skin a moose with, fillet a fish with as well as carve wood. The blade is approximately 3 7/8" long and made of 3.8 mm thick Sandvik 14C28N, a Swedish stainless steel developed specifically for knives (57-59 HRC). The knives are ground with a shaving sharp flat scandi grind and have a satin finish. This steel in combination with the grind makes these knives very strong, yet very easy to sharpen and it takes a great edge.

These knives are made with a handle in classic Curly Birch wood with liners, a very handsome hardwood scale that feels great in the hand.

The knife comes with a sturdy sheath made of 3mm thick vegetable tanned leather. The sheath has an extra wide belt loop, a bottom opening for fluid and a hole for a leg attachment. A matching fire steel with nylon cord is also included.
