In my experience these fit very well, are comfortable & with an elastic stretch band very forgiving if a few extra inches are gained around the waist. I got them to use at the range but also find myself replacing my jeans with them as everyday casual wear. I put them through a lot at the range and so far so good. Lots of storage room with strategically placed pockets in just the right spots. These would of been nice to wear when I was in the military instead of combats! Only thing that would of complemented these is a draw string on the ankles.
