As one of four smiths, the dwarf Dvalin created the necklace Brisingamen for Freya, the Germanic goddess of love. In Norse mythology, this special necklace is said to be associated with magic, and love, but also sorrow and suffering. Thus, Freya's tears in heaven always promised rich fruit on earth. However, it was the wrath of Odin, the father of the gods, that not infrequently caused the goddess of love to spark wars in the human world. Dirk Hofmeister of Midgard's Knives was inspired by the Nordic art of forging and created the pocket-knife version of the popular Little Dvalin. The powerful Dvalin Folder impresses with its compact size and features a ball-bearing drop-point blade made of D2 with an austere stonewash finish and a pronounced hollow groove on both sides as a nail nick for opening the folding knife. The jimping on the back of the blade promises a secure thumb rest for difficult cutting tasks. Despite the wrath of the gods, the well-shaped and partially serrated handle made of G10 always lies securely in the hand. The stainless-steel frame lock is concealed on the back of the handle and reliably secures the blade. The tip-up clip takes on the texture of the handle, while the lanyard hole increases the carrying comfort. Harness the power of the Norse Gods with the Boker Plus Dvalin Folder.
