One of the underrated piece of history of all time is the Egyptian Military Intelligence & Reconnaissance Badge, the origin of the Egyptian Military Intelligence & Reconnaissance began during or after the 1952 Coup that topple King Farouk, the following years saw Egypt under military rules for a long period of times. The Egyptian Military Intelligence play a major role in protecting state officials and state interested from internal threats and along with eliminating those who deem to be of a threat, and  the organization often being use to purge political opponents. Through it's long history, the Military Intelligence have it's up and downs and there are 1 fatal blows that reshapes the way the agency operates, the 6 days war where they failed to predict Israeli Defense Force counter attack which cause Egypt the Sinai Peninsula and reason being for the first major failure is the lack of coordination with the with the General Intelligence Service that was form 2 years after the Egyptian Military Intelligence & Reconnaisance.
