The actual George Cross itself are made from solid silver by the Royal Mint, the appearance of the cross show a central medallion with St. George slaughtering a dragon within "For Gallantry" that surrounding the central medallion, and the four royal cypher G VI on each corner of the cross limb, but for this jeweler sample it is four G R on each corner of the cross limb instead of G VI, the cross itself is of a plain design and usually the recipient would have their name and date of the award.
