The MoeGuns Tactical DLS was designed as a quick access reading/emergency light that attaches to loop gear via sewn on hook. 

The three directional LED's within the unit makes it bright enough to read a map, look in an IFAK, or find an item in a backpack without being too bright as to kill the user's natural night vision.

The electronics are sealed inside making the unit completely water-proof, however, this means that the batteries are not replaceable.
