The Mustad Stainless Steel 8 Shape Ring is a dependable lynchpin between leader and hook. No rough edges to damage or cut the line make it perfect for making assist hook rigs for jigging. The figure 8 shape ring separates hook and leader from each other preventing the leader being cut or getting tangled. This leaves for greater movement for the hook. Connect the leader to the smaller hole and the hook to the bigger, leaving room for more movement. Use it for lighter jigging for Tuna, Grouper, Amberjacks or Pollock in the North Atlantic. Stainless steel for excellent corrosion resistance.
