NcStar / VISM 28" Deluxe Dual Compartment Subgun / SBR Padded Carrying Bag / Case - Urban Grey

I came back today to buy this same bag in Tan colour after receiving this Urban Grey model. I find this VISM 28" Bag to be well made and good value for the money. The center side pouch can easily accommondate 7 x 30-round AR15 mags and the two flanking pouches hold at least 5 mags each. All pouches have a double elasticated draw-string with captive toggles to keep the bumps & rattles to a minimum. Heavy-duty hook & loop patches hold the pouch flaps closed as well as a 1 inch commpression strap with mil-spec buckles (2 straps on center pouch). However, there are no drainhole eyelets installed in any of these 3 pouches but will be easy to add later. The main compartment zipper pulls have overlaping loops allowing the use of a small padlock (Master Lock model 746T works well for this purpose). Zipper is of robust quality and appears to be of the "self-healing" type. Only time will tell on this... The main compartment internally measures 27" long and is designed for two subguns and/or SBRs with fixed or telescoping stocks separated by a padded center panel. I purchased this bag on the chance that it would fit my Troy Defense Pump Action Rifle National Model (5.56 NATO with 16" barrel) which has a folding stock and is equiped with a 1-4x24 Vortex Viper and offset open sights. Although much wider because of the folding stock, it fits very well. Adding a second rifle/subgun/SBR is out of the question but "beggars can't be choosers". I also found that my GSG-15 rifle (with optics) fits perfectly and that's why I'm here today to purchase a second bag. Buy one of these with confidence!
