The Orville “Rick” Wright is easily the most EDC-able model in our present lineup. Its size, blade shape, ease-of opening and overall feel make it a perfect candidate for daily carry. The construction and assembly are based on our “less hardware, less repair” theory of design. The handle and frame sides are secured around the pivoting blade by nothing but our Tri-Spoke® Pivot Assembly & two oversized chain-ring bolts. The blade style, traditional in some senses—its shape is utilitarian, known as a drop-point. It’s dual thumb studs give you the touch you need when blind and help to get that steel where you’ll need it, fast. The machining of the G-10 scale is unique to our brand. Its tough to develop a pattern that’s unique in knives these days, but we’ve achieved it with this piece. Finally, the flipper device doubles as a finger guard, it moves the blade into position with an intuitive “flick” with the help of the ORB®. An amazingly solid knife at every angle.
