The Retro Arms hopup cube is manufactured from aircraft grade EN AW7075 aluminum, that has strength of steel but weight of aluminium. It is one of the best materials for high performance parts. The AK Cube is milled on a CNC milling machine and has protective anodizing of 5m black and red color (0,005mm).

Reloading AK magazines can be problematic because of misalignment. Retro Arms decided to make a support cube with a block-off plate, which prevents the misalignment issue. The magazine locking notch is lead by the support cube's block-off plate into the correct locking position, every time. This innovative design solves magazine reloading problems and potentially allows for faster reloading without damaging your mags.
