When you own a Shinwa, you have a sword that has been meticulously hand-forged using ancient, time-honored tempering techniques that give it a custom, one-of-a-kind look and feel. The Crimson Hariken Katana is a masterpiece of design from the delicately crafted menuki to the intricately designed, integrated knife. The full-tang, 28 1/2” blade is crafted of high carbon steel, which extends from a polished brass habaki. The hardwood handle is wrapped in white cord and black faux rayskin with the polished brass menuki. The katana has a spiraling hurricane-themed, antique bronze and brass, metal alloy handle collar and matching pommel. Included with the katana is a highly decorative knife with a sharp, 4 1/2” stainless steel blade and a metal alloy handle. The 39 1/2” overall katana slides smoothly into a red matte, wooden scabbard, which also holds the small knife.
