Silver Stag SFS2.5 Fire Starter - Magnesium

The SILVER STAG Magnesium Fire-Starter uses a large 1/4" diameter composite flint steel rod that has magnesium built into it. This hand -made shed American antler Fire Starter is designed to function wet or dry and is made from corrosion resistant high strength materials and can be carried in your backpack, in your pocket, or on your key chain. The SILVER STAG Fire Starter is made in our factory and is designed to last a life time, (Just like SILVER STAG Knives!). 

SILVER STAG FIRE STARTER INSTRUCTIONS and SAFTEY - For best results, assemble a small pile of flammable material (grass, twigs, paper, etc..). Use your SILVER STAG knife to scrape a few slivers of magnesium off the rod onto the pile of flammable material. Hold the rod at about a 45 degree angle a couple of inches above the small pile of flammable material. Next, strike the rod fast and hard with your knife to throw sparks (chunks of magnesium), at the small pile of flammable material. Walllaa...fire!
