This magazine release button comes with a threaded nut to keep it attached to the magazine release shaft. Traditional real gun style magazine release buttons are one piece and have the threads for the shaft built into them, however this requires the user to push down on the button and twist the magazine release shaft on the other side of the gun in order to install it. This two piece design makes installing and uninstalling the magazine catch very simple. This button cannot be installed without a special tool, which is not included in this package.
