Introducing the new stainless Endura 4, it fills your palm with a handful of steel yet doesn't seem weighty or unwieldy. Knife Knuts who prefer something heavier and stouter seem to gravitate to steel handled knives. Since the handle surface is flat and smooth it offers an ideal palette for engraving and personalizing your knife. As part of Spyderco’s CQI™ (Constant Quality Improvement) philosophy the C10SS now offers improved ergonomics – added to the blade’s spine is slip resistant jimping, a larger thumbhole, a stronger thicker tip and a new 4-way clip design (R/L reversible & Tip-up/Tip-down). The hollow-ground blade has been upgraded to VG-10 and is available in a PlainEdge, SpyderEdge or ComboEdge configuration.

    "A Great L.E. Tool"

Posted by Stuart H. on 9th Aug 2016

In 1867, Hy Kauffmann debuted the "Mercator K55K", an all metal lock-back folding knife. And, in 2017, this iconic piece of cutlery will celebrate its' sesquicentennial in production. To many professionals in Law Enforcement and Security, the Spyderco "C10P Endura 4 Stainless Steel" knife represents the zenith in development of this genre of pocket folder. As a tactical knife for professionals, this large pocket folder is second to none. The "C10P Endura 4 Stainless Steel" knife features a robust 3.875" VG10 steel blade, and an all stainless steel ergonomically shaped handle that can substitute as an effective Kubotan. As for the competitors in this class, they all fall a bit short. The Spyderco "Police" model is just too expensive and cumbersome. The Byrd "Cara Cara 2" model is more suited to every day carry than tactical use. And, for the past few years, the Gerber "Paraframe 2" model has been plagued by a host of quality issues. So if you're an "on the job" professional, I highly recommend the Spyderco "C10P Endura 4 Stainless Steel" knife!
