The Umarex AirJavelin is a new way to shoot arrows. Powered by CO2, the Umarex Air Javelin launches a 170-grain air bolt at 300 FPS. The AirJavelin takes airpower into a new direction with 34-foot pounds of energy delivered via Straight Flight Technology arrows. Shooters can line up the target with the installed open sights or zero in a dot sight or scope for pin-point arrow placement. The AirJavelin has a full-length Picatinny rail on the top along with a short section below the barrel. Both sides of the AirJavelin's stock are also equipped with M-LOK slots. The AirJavelin accepts 88-gram CO2 tanks and will launch dozens of arrows downrange on a single tank. The Umarex 2x12g CO2 adapter (not included) will also install on the AirJavelin handy for shorter shooting sessions. Lightweight and versatile, the Umarex AirJavelin is more than a new way to shoot arrows, it is a great way to open up archery fun for the whole family.

Loud & Proud! A Precision Arrow Launcher
The price from Hero is the best in Canada, adjusted for US$, import tariffs/taxes, and availability as legal in Canada! Please acknowledge this is very LOUD, and will wake-up neighbors, depending on your municipal regulations. Nonetheless, out of the box, the provided sights provide amazing accuracy to between 50-100 feet, no kidding! I do recommend purchasing the Umarex 2x12g/88g solid cartridge converter, it really works as advertised by Umarex, and will save a lot of pressurized CO2 which may otherwise be wasted...many YouTube references, for example. Considering this is a relatively new (2020) product, it sets the caliber and quality for competition, for which presently are none. I anticipate this new shooting sport designation (air arrows) to become very successful. Umarex, as the pioneer, has set the standard for price, quality, and affordable accessories. Hero Outdoors retails everything (Umarex AirJavelin, arrows, 2x12g/88g converter) and I am independent no compen$ation for this honest and practical review. When you buy this, always remember to press the safety "ON", cock the left/right handle, and THEN insert the CO2...arrow; next, safely aim and pull the trigger. The safety push button is rather stiff, maybe a good thing. The trigger pull is to a 1/4 feel, and then a dedicated 3/4 pull to complete, takes practice. Certainly, this is the best new product for 2020, and as numbers show, is quickly becoming the "It" for a new air arrow sport! Play safe, no COVID, and enjoy!
