The T4E HDR .68 paintball marker brings the revolver into the 21st century. This marker is powered by a single 12 gram non-threaded CO2 cartridge housed in the grip and is equipped with T4E's Quick Pierce CO2 cartridge puncturing system. The HDR .68 Revolver holds five .68 caliber rubber, paint, or dust projectiles and launches them through the double action pull of the trigger. The three included rotary magazine disks allow for fast and easy reloading. The HDR .68 Revolver has two sections of Picatinny rail, one on the top strap that is ideal for a compact reflex sight and one below the barrel which is ideal for a laser or tactical light.
The rotary magazine holds 5 .68 cal paintballs, and the 170mm long barrel is equipped with Picatinny rails for mounting accessories like scopes, lights, or lasers. Velocity output is 230 – 250 fps, making this an ideal paintball sidearm for both indoor and outdoor play.

Excellent build quality; bigger than I expected;...
I picked up the .68 HDR from Hero yesterday, and I've given it a limited test with some training rounds. Here's what I like about it so far: -Open sights are bright white and make for easy target acquisition. -Simple to operate without any more moving parts than needed. -I really like the 'standby' (I don't know the manufacturer's term) setup for the CO2 cartridge; you can install a 12g cannister in the base of the handle, much like other CO2 guns, but this one is a bit different; it doesn't pierce the seal until you whack the bottom (think of the motion you'd make if you were inserting a mag into a mag-fed semi), at which point the CO2 indicator pin pops out at the back (it's red, which is helpful) to indicate that you're good to go. -It came with 3 magazines; 5-shot rotary mags that are easy to load and feel sturdy. -The construction appears to be mostly polymer, with some metal, but it doesn't detract from the build quality. -The Picatinny rail on the top, and short one on the bottom allow for easy mounting of optics or accessories (in the photo I've submitted, you can see the flashlight/laser I popped on the bottom). Things I would change to make it 5 stars (I didn't feel right giving it a 4, but I'd say it's a 4.5/5, just based on the following minor observations): -Larger than expected; I had purchased it for my teenaged daughter, and she found it too large/heavy to comfortably keep raised for a long time. That said, I didn't check the dimensions before I picked it up, so this isn't a flaw per se. Just something to keep in mind. -I would feel more comfortable if it had a manual safety, rather than the safety as it's described by the manufacturer (being the 2-stage trigger). No impact on performance, but again, something to be aware of, especially with respect to storage considerations. -On the last point, actually, since this gun is (by design) so simple to operate, it ought to be stored in the same safe manner as a firearm.
