WW1 Ontario County 182nd Battalion, the battalion was raise in Whitby and recruitment began from winter of 1915-1916, shortly the battalion was trained and equipped, it was ship out to England as of May of 1917 where it was absorbed into the 18th reserve battalion on may 14 of 1917.
