WW2 British Home Guard Sanderson pattern 1907 with P17 U.S. lend lease scabbard. During the 2nd world war the United Kingdom facing shortages of all kinds and often relying on overseas importation of materials to keep up with demands of the general civilian population needs and the war effort needs for equipment, however this was made even worse when the German Kriegsmarine submarine threat were at all time high and often transport ships overseas delivering materials to the United Kingdom are often sunk, thus the material requirement are not met and so the U.K would request a lend lease from the U.S. to supply them with equipment and such to equip members of the armed forces and the home guard, these P17 scabbard and bayonets are the example of U.S lend lease supply materials to the U.K.

These scabbard are often modify to mount a frog that would fit on a belt.

The condition of the bayonet are good and the wooden handle show no sign of crack with a visible ding to the wooden handle, the scabbard shows generic paint peel and bit of fade but no sign of rust on the metals bits
