WW2/Post War Captain’s foot locker is a private purchase lot consisting of the chest with all of the former captain's belongings ranging from uniform, flags, personal items, hats, pins, ribbon bars, binoculars and patches. The chest belongs to Captain/Major Miller and from what belongings he has inside the chest, which indicates that he started his career as an enlisted soldier during WW2 and after the war ended, he continued to serve in the U.S. Army for a period of time and have been transferred to few different units before retiring as a Major around the 1960s or 1970s. Records of Captain Millers have not been found in the archive due to insufficient resources at our disposal for further research into the lot.
