This Vichy version of the famous Croix de Guerre was established by Marshall petain subsequent to the Fall of France. It is similar to the previous versions of the Croix de Guerre, and it is awarded to soldiers who distinguished themselves during combat.
The condtion of this item is good with some minor sign of aging that are not too visible.
