WW2 Royal Engineers Bakelite Cap Badge. Due to high demands of ammunition and vehicle production during war time, as a result metals are to be diverted to meet the demands of the frontline and the cap badges are no longer made of metals but are made from Bakelite to free up some metals for the demands.
The condition of this item is good, with wear and warping with bits of cracks showing.
