The Yugoslav People's Army M2 gas mask is an upgraded and improved version of the M1 Gas Mask of which a copy of a US M9 gas mask, The M2 Gas mask have a 40mm filter adapter compare to the M1 60mm and the M2 40mm adapter allow the user to use variety of gas mask filters including old soviet filters from the 60s 70s 80s to the modern NATO filter. Unfortunately these mask saw some what limited production until 1991 the beginning of the rising tensions within Yugoslavia of which lead to all out war follow post 1991.
